1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and role (coach, parent, player, or director).

Profile Information: Players may optionally provide date of birth, hometown, graduating class, and social media handles.

Communications: Messages you send through in-app chat channels are stored to provide the chat service.

Device Information: We may collect device tokens for push notifications if you opt in.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate Affirmi AppSpace
• Enable team communication through role-based chat channels
• Send push notifications about team events and messages (if enabled)
• Manage team rosters, schedules, and invitations
• Process payments for organization subscriptions

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Affirmi AppSpace may be used by minors (players) as part of a youth sports organization. We take children's privacy seriously:

• Player accounts for minors are created by their coach or program director
• Parent/guardian accounts are linked to their child's player account
• We collect only the minimum information necessary for the app to function
• Parents can request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us
• Chat messages from minors are visible only to their team (coaches, players, and in designated channels)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

• Within your team and organization (as determined by your role and channel access)
• With service providers that help us operate (Supabase for data storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for email)
• When required by law or to protect safety

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), role-based access controls, and row-level security policies to protect your data.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting your organization director or emailing us directly.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Parents/guardians can exercise these rights on behalf of their minor children.
